If I were just rating the dentist, I would give him 5 stars, unfortunately I have recently had a bad experience with the front office. Two years ago I had 2 crowns put in. They contacted my insurance company at the time and showed me an itemized list of what was covered and what wasn't. I paid my portion in full at the time I had the work done. I have been in 2 times since then for check ups. Not once did anyone mention anything about owing money. Then out of the blue earlier this year I get a bill. When I inquired about this, they said it was for the crowns I had done back in 2024 and a claim that my insurance denied. I checked all my claims and I have paid everything that my insurance company said I owed. When I tried to ask for exactly what claim they were talking about, they said they would just try resubmitting the claim and would not provide me with any information as to what it was for. It has been way over a month since I last talked to them and I have not heard a word for them, but if I look at the bill they sent me back in February, it still is showing that I owe. I haven't received another bill since I last talked to them though, so I have no clue what is goi

I came to Fresh Dental for what I believed was a routine check-up covered by my insurance, as it had been during previous visits. Everything seemed normal during the appointment, and at no point was I informed of any additional charges or services not covered by my insurance. Later, I received a bill requesting payment for services that I understood to be covered. I returned to the office to ask for clarification, and I was told that it was likely a mistake and that they could not see any outstanding charges on their end. However, shortly afterward, I received a call stating that if the balance was not paid, the account could be sent to collections, which could negatively affect my credit. To avoid that situation, I paid the amount requested. What is most frustrating is that the office later explained that, moving forward, they would call patients 2–3 days before appointments to confirm what insurance covers and what out-of-pocket costs may apply. That communication should have happened beforehand in my case as well. I had a great experience at this dental clinic! The staff was very friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. The office was clean and comfortable, which made me feel at ease. I’m really happy with my visit and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

This is a mixed review. Dr Kim is pleasant and caring, took care of dental needs. Issue is a follow up cleaning was not made, when realized that few months later, called informed booked till November 2006, was put on list if cancellation came up would receive a call, so cleaning can be well over a year if lucky. Did not mention when regular cleaning appointment could be made.
